Nothing. Although it would be a sad day, nothing would happen to your GTINs if Bar Codes Talk were to go out of business. You own your barcode numbers outright for life, and that ownership never expires. Your GTINs are not tied to us once they are issued.

Why wouldn’t my barcodes be affected?

Barcodes are a static, passive technology. Once assigned, a GTIN does not change, deactivate, or require updates during your product’s lifecycle. Your barcodes will continue to work in all retail and POS systems exactly as they did before.
